D Dean Boom with his +1 Garden Slayer

D Dean Boom, author, gardener, nerd, gamer, snicker-doodle enthusiast.  Born in an American enclave in the Firth of Clyde area of Scotland, he's traveled the world and the United States as research for his many books.  In his  books you see flavors of the UK, Canada, Mexico,  Germany, Scandinavia, Taiwan, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, the Low Countries,  Hong Kong, and Portland Oregon.  He's been to all of the 50 US states and 14 time zones.  He is oft to do dumb things to add to his list of places and loves military museums.  D (his first name is tied to his former technology nerd work) started working on Holimoren as a teen (soooooo many years ago) and has been writing down his stories since 2004 when he joined National Novel Writing Month(RIP).  16 time winner out of 20, he's got a backlog of material that will end up in your favor e-reader eventually.  If he doesn't seem to be answering e-mails or posting blogs in November, NaNoWriMo is the reason.
He loves Star Wars original trilogy, Andor,  Star Trek (TNG really), Phineas and Ferb, Penguins of Madagascar, Metal Music, Bowling for Soup, Weird Al,  his Metal Book Club, his family, justice, fairness, democracy and intelligent people.  He hates coconuts,  pretentious people, and writing long blurbs about himself.
